What's New

JULY 2012

We have moved! We have relocated our business to regional NSW - Port Stephens. We look forward to sharing our sea/tree change journey with you.

Chick Pea is pleased to announce that we have just become the Australasian Distributors for Dabbawalla Bags.

Dabbawalla bags are designed in the US and are sewn in Taiwan by a family owned and operated sewing facility that supports fair wage practices and social responsibility. Each Bag is hand crafted, individual and subtle difference add to their unique charm. All of the bags have been tested and are free of lead, PVC and pthalates.

Flexible and strong, and made from naturally insulating, water-resistant neoprene and eco-sponge, Dabbawalla Backpacks & Lunch Totes are tough enough to take a lot of rough-n-tumble yet stylish enough to stand out from the crowd. And because they are completely machine washable, stain-resistant and eco-friendly, they are indisputably practical, too. In colorful, fresh designs sized just right for carrying lunch to school, an outing at the park, or a tote for overnight adventures.

March 2010

We have introduced three new girl fabrics to the range.

Spring Cherries

I have always loved spots and stripes and the Appleberries cleverly combines these with my favourite fruits Strawberries and Apples.

You know I can't go by a fabric with Cherries on it and even though our original Cherries fabric is still loved, I had to introduce a new one for all those "Pink" girls out there.

Kids love cupcakes and so do I! This vintage inspired cupcakes print is a perfect!
