Please advise us if you would like your purchase gift wrapped. We normally use white wrapping paper with coloured ribbons and include a hand written gift card with your personalised message if you wish.

Payment On-line via Credit Card

We recommend this as the fastest & most efficient method of purchasing your goods on-line from us.

Our site is extremely safe. When transacting via our secure server, your credit card and personal details are encrypted using the latest industry standards SSL (Secure Socket Layer) 128 Bit encryption technology before being sent over the internet.

If you are still unsure about purchasing on-line using your credit card, then we suggest you choose from the payment options below to ensure you are entirely satisfied with your Warranty shopping experience.

Payment Off-line via Credit Card

If you wish to pay using your credit card, but would prefer not to pay on-line, then simply choose Phone Ordering in Payment Method section of Check out process, then continue to Check out process.

You will then need to contact chickpea.com.au on +61 2 4984 5110 to arrange for payment. You may also discuss other methods of payment such as bank transfer.

Chick Pea Pty Ltd will appear on your financial institution statement as the company you have paid for your products and services.

Payment via Money Order

If you do not have a credit card or have a card that is not accepted by chickpea.com.au, then we recommend that payment be made via Australia Post Money Order. Simply choose the "Money Order" option from the method of payment when purchasing your items, write your name and order number on the back of the Money Order and post it to the following address :

Payment via Cheque

chickpea.com.au also accepts cheques from Australian banks only. Please note that all cheques require a clearing period and your order will not be shipped until the cheque has been cleared. Simply choose the "Cheque" option from the method of payment when purchasing your items, write your name and Order Id (displayed on Order Confirmation Screen) on the back of the cheque and post it as follows:

All prices are noted in Australian Dollars and include the 10% Good and Services Tax (GST). The GST only applies to orders within Australia and it will be deducted from overseas orders at the checkout.

Prices do not include applicable overseas duty charges and customs charges for international shipments.

All pricing is subject to change without notice. For all prices, products and offers, Chick Pea Pty Ltd reserves the right to make adjustments due to changing market conditions, product discontinuation, manufacturer price changes, errors in advertisements and other extenuating circumstances.

Out of Stock

It is possible that a product you order will not be in stock. If this happens we will notify you via email within a week and give you the choice of putting the product on back order or refunding your credit card. A product placed on back order will be delayed and we will discuss the timeframe with you.

Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

This "Return of Goods Policy" is in addition to and does not modify your rights under the Trade Practices Act 1974 but is replacement for and hereby excludes all other statutory and common law rights that are able to be excluded.

Chick Pea Pty Ltd reserves the right upon assessment of your return to repair, replace, refund or reject your claim. You will be notified of the findings of our inspection of your purchase within 2-3 days of receipt of the returned item. We will refund or exchange any faulty or incorrectly shipped items within 14 days of purchase. Please Download the return form , fill it in and post out to the address below with your purchased goods. The customer is responsible for any shipping fees when returning items and chickpea.com.au does not take any responsibly for the arrival of returns. All returned goods must be unused and in their original state with tags attached or they will be not accepted.

Purchases made from a Chick Pea stockist must be returned to its original place of purchase along with the proof of purchase. We cannot refund or exchange an item that has not been purchased through chickpea.com.au. The stockist at their discretion may choose to replace or return the purchased item subject to their own internal returns policy.

Shipping - When will my order arrive?

If we have the item in stock, your order will usually be shipped within 48 hours of placement*. If there will be an extended delay in the shipment of your order, we will advise you via email. Once your order is dispatched, shipping times are usually as follows:

  • Within Australia most capital cities: 1-3 working days

  • Within Australia remote & regional areas: 3 -7 working days

  • International Destinations via Air mail: 10-15 working days but can take up to 30 days in some instances.

Please Note that we are charged a redelivery fee if an incorrect delivery address is given. This redirection fee will be charged to the sender following notification so please be sure you have the correct address details when you place your order.

* Order dispatch times may vary depending on stock availability and administrative processes.


Shipping - Signature required for receipt of goods

Goods must be signed for on arrival. Please provide an address where the goods can be received during normal business hours, Monday to Friday.

If you are concerned that you may not be home when your goods are due to arrive, we can organise an authority to leave your parcel. Please fill out the correct location to leave the parcel when registering your details or when finalising your order at the check out. Please note we take no responsibility for orders that request an authority to leave a parcel.

Fastway will not ship to PO Box addresses if you require your goods to be shipped to your PO Box address it will be sent via Australia Post.

Wholesale orders will not be shipped to PO Box addresses.

Shipping - How will my order be shipped?

Orders within Australia will be shipped via Fastway Couriers or Australia Post, which in most cases will mean delivery within 1 – 3 working days, once your order is dispatched. Delivery to remote country areas can be up to 7 working days.
Orders shipping to locations outside of Australia will also be shipped via Australia Post;

  • Airmail - approximately 10 working days from dispatch to delivery and no tracking,

  • Express Airmail - approximately 5 working days from dispatch to delivery and parcel tracking provided

Tracking numbers will be emailed to you once your order has been dispatched, these are sent directly to you by Australia Post.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the total weight of the products ordered, the shipping method selected and the delivery location. This enables us to calculate the lowest shipping cost possible. The shipping cost excludes any import duties/taxes as these are to be bore by the purchaser.

My order hasn't arrived? The majority of our orders are sent via Australia Post. Please check the tracking number sent to you directly by Australia Post when your order was dispatched. Go onto www.auspost.com.au/track enter the tracking number and it will give you the details of your package and where it is currently located. It is always worth a telephone call to your local post office to see if the parcel has been redirected there. Be insistent on asking them to check!

Shipping – Overseas customs duties, taxes, etc

Customs duties and taxes vary from country to country. If you are unsure if your parcel will be subject to such fees you should contact your local customs or postal authority.

Any such fees are solely the responsibility of the parcel recipient and are not included in the shipping charges in your invoice.

Washing and Care Instructions

Products made from 100% Cotton including Sun Hats, Pram Liners, Library Bags, Nappy Covers

  • Cold Gentle Machine Wash. Do not Wring or Bleach. Line Dry in shade. Do not Tumble Dry. Warm Iron.


  • Cold Gentle Machine Wash. Warm Tumble Dry for best results. Do Not Iron as it will cause the raised dots to flatten.

Single layer of PVC covered items including Hybrid Bib, Baby & Toddler Smock, Kids Smock, Aprons, Shower Caps

  • Cold Gentle Machine Wash. Do not Wring or Bleach. Line Dry in Shade. Do not Tumble Dry. For best results turn the item inside out before washing and to dry. Items can be Soaked in Napisan, however this will deteriorate the PVC over time.

Double layer of PVC covered items (PVC Inside and Out) including Tote Bags, Change Mats, Purses, Nappy Wallets

  • Do not Wash or Soak, Do Not Tumble Dry. Wipe down item with a damp cloth. Methaylted Spirits, Eucalytpus Oil or even Windex can be used to clean the PVC of marks.
